Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

Just stuff

Today was a super fun day! We started the day with what is fast becoming our Saturday morning tradition of either eggs and buckwheat pancakes or eggs and french toast... today was french toast.... it is a super yummy, super healthy version I make on sprouted grain bread with of course REAL maple syrup none of this maple "flavored" nonsense! Then we worked on painting the baby bed and a couple of other fun projects!

We spent the early afternoon relaxing and just being lazy. Then this evening we went to Northpark and walked around a little and then went to dinner at Maggianos. Just a piece of advice... make reservations.... there were people waiting when we got there that were still waiting when we left. One thing we have learned is that you can't afford to wait for an hour just to sit another hour with a 2 year old.... reservations are life savers when eating out with kids... or like we often do, just find the hole in the wall that no one else knows about!

Also, there is this one spot in front of Williams Sonoma and Tiffanys at Northpark that has a little pond with turtles and a few ducks and of course that is Anna's favorite place in the mall. They also have these "slides" that the kids love. They are just these HUGE planters that are sloped and the kids can run up them and slide down the slick sides.... It is quite the attraction! =) Anyway, Anna spent at least 30 minutes doing that before and after dinner so Mommy and Daddy took turns shopping in Williams Sonoma while she played. We picked out a Barefoot Contessa cookbook that has some amazing recipes in it.

The pic I am posting of Anna is her on the "slide" and the other pic is my 7 month pregnant belly! WOW... not long now and I feel like my belly is ready to pop already! =)

Oh my gosh!!! That is too funny! Scott and I used to slide down those very same planter "slides" when we were little and our family went to Northpark every Sat. We were over there every week as a family. And the pond with the little bridge thing was our favorite attraction! It just had fish and turtles back then. They've since added the ducks. How funny! My kids have never even seen that place. With my crew it'd quickly turn into a playground that the mall managers might just have a problem with! LOL!

Forgot to add.......you look sooo great and have the cutest little baby belly ever! It's so round and perfect. Gavin's only 4 months old and I already miss being pregnant. How is that possible???? I'm so excited for you. You're so pretty and you look adorable!

Nikki, that is too funny about the "slides"! I had no idea they had been there since we were kids! I was missing out not having gone there until I was an adult =)
