Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

Sisters playing

Ears...

As a side note... YES, Serene got my Phillips ears. Those of course are lovingly referred to in our family as "stickie outie" ears! =)

Happy three month birthday Serene!

On Friday Serene was three months. I can hardly believe that. The time has gone by faster than I can blink my eyes. I think about it sometimes and I can hardly remember when she wasn't with our family. She is such a precious blessing and makes us smile everyday with her little laugh and precious baby noises! She is such a good sleeper and is also a great eater! She loves to eat and I am proud to say has NEVER had a bottle! I promised myself we would go bottle free this time and so far so good. Honestly it makes my life so much easier, I love it!

I am so grateful for the gift of Serene to our family and I look forward to the blessing of more children!

SNOW part 2!!!!

SNOW!!!!

It looks like we got about 5 inches... which is the most snow accumulation I have ever seen in Texas in my 31 years here! =) I have only seen snow fall like this when I have been in the mountains SO, this was a REAL treat!! Anna and Jimmy had the best time yesterday playing and making snow angels and a adorable snow man that looks a little more like a snow bunny! =)

Just some pics

Ok so the one of the fam is not the best of Serene (since you can't see her very well) BUT I love the way Anna is looking so sweetly at her. She really does adore her baby sis!

I thought spring had "sprung"

Well last week it looked like it was officially spring. We had a great park day with daddy on Thursday and Friday we played outside all day and Saturday it was downright hot... and then last night it snowed... Oh how we love this Texas weather!!! =) It keeps us guessing that's for sure!!

Here are some pics of our super fun park day feeding the ducks with daddy... somehow daddy didn't make any of the pics.. I think he was taking them all!
