Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

First truly cold day

High school friends

The annual dinner with Jimmy's high school friends! Love these people!

State fair

This was the first time we had been to the fair in probably 6 years... Maybe 7. The last time we went me had one child. :) We were a little hesitant taking so many kiddos to a huge and very busy place but it went great and the kids had a blast. We will go back next year for sure!

Fried bubble gum... It was sooo gross!

The obligatory Fletcher's corn dogs! Scrumptious as always!!

All the fried delights and my dear daughter found a fruit stand!

Not happy about being strapped in at such an exciting place. :(

Worn out from fighting to get out of her seat.

Rangers

This happened over a month ago but at least I'm recording it. Our annual date night to the ballpark for Jimmy's birthday. I give him the tickets in June, we go in late September when it's cooler! Happy Jimmy, happy me! :)

Wedding weekend pt. 2

As part of the wedding weekend on our way home we stopped through Austin and visited UT. We made our usual visit to the Co-op and daddy outfitted each kid with UT gear and then walked them around the campus convincing each one why it would be a good idea to follow his path and attend his Alma Mater. :)

We also ate at one of our fave Mexican restaurants in Austin.  Matt's El Rancho.

A lovely end to a wonderful weekend full of family and fun!

My cousins wedding

We had the absolute best time as a family traveling to Wimberley, Texas for my baby cousins wedding. Wimberley is one of the most gorgeous Texas towns I have ever seen. It's secluded deep in the hill country and as quaint as you will ever find. Massive trees and a gorgeous river running right through the middle of the picturesque downtown.

We rented a house for the weekend just minutes from the old downtown yet so secluded that deer were regularly just lounging in our yard. The property we rented had the largest tree I have ever seen with my own eyes in Texas. It was amazing and our kids were in heaven playing on the tree, exploring the property, and enjoying the river which ran right behind our little property. It was wonderful and that didn't even include seeing all our family and getting to attend the gorgeous hill top wedding of one of the sweetest and most sincere brides I've ever known!

A blessed and incredible weekend!

Road trip!!

Loved having our own kitchen and cooking meals!

Yogurt in downtown!
