Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

Naptime fun

Today we made each other Christmas cards and worked a puzzle while the little boys and Patience napped! Love the calm of the afternoon!

Thankful

Today I am so overwhelmingly thankful for these six people in my life! They bring immeasurable amounts of joy and peace to my life. I admit I take it for granted as life goes on and the daily grind of managing the lives of five small people exhausts my body, brain and soul.... But I am grateful for it all, the dirty diapers, the dirty dishes, the messy house, the meals, the laundry... Etc... It takes these six amazing people to create all that work. So I wouldn't trade the work... Ever! I cherish every towel I fold, every toy I pick up a thousand times, every meal I make, every night I stay up with a sick little one, and every moment in between. This is the best life ever and I am eternally grateful for every day of it!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Our baby girl is amazing

Patience continues to break Zimmerman children records. She is now able to pull herself up to a full stable standing position and only hold on with one hand. Her crawling is crazy fast and she jabbers non-stop. This girl came out ready to be one if the big kids.

She is still pretty small for her age though but with irresistibly chubby thighs and cheeks..., oh and the cutest double chin ever!!

Love!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year

We LOVE this time of year in our house and we really like to spend most of November and December celebrating it. Of course Thanksgiving will always be a special time in our house too... I was born on Thanksgiving Day so it's personally very special to me!

Eye exam

Wednesday was the first of our two annual appointments for Serene. Last year we were told she no longer requires MRIs so this year she had a simple eye exam in which they dilated her eyes and checked for abnormalities and potential tumors on the optic nerves. They found absolutely NOTHING... The doctors exact words were "we're going to call you Miss Perfect because your eyes are so perfect!!".... Thank you Lord! Thank you so much for health for our girl! Blessed and grateful!
