Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

MRI

I made it through the MRI today. In fact, it was actually quite a pleasant experience. If one must have an MRI it was the way to go. I had to go the sitting route and so at this particular place after they get you to put on these super soft comfy pajama like pants you sit down at the actual machine pick your favorite TV channel and watch TV on. Giant big screen while the take pictures of everything an xray couldn't see!

We wont hear the results until Thursday which wont be too soon, so they can finally, hopefully give me some real pain relief after 16 days now.

Hurry up and wait!

MAJOR back issues.... but I am so blessed

My back is still causing me horrible pain (remember I had a baby pain med FREE... I know about pain).... Anyway, I am up at 6:15 and have not slept even one wink because of the pain. This is the worst my back has ever been. I go tomorrow for an MRI.... I tried one today but laying flat in my back was causing excruciating pain. The one I will try today is a sit down MRI which should work. If I take a pain pill (or three) I can sit still.

In the midst of it all though I am truly blessed. My family has continued to love on me and take such good care of me during this awful time. My sweet neighbor who I don't even know all that well yet heard I was hurt and is bringing dinner tonight... A friend from Sunday school is bringing dinner Wednesday night and some sweet homeschool girls are coming to take care of my children all day Thursday to give me relief!

I am incredibly blessed! Thank you Lord for showing me through thus time how much I have to be thankful for!

(oh and my sweet girls are picking me bouquets of wildflowers everyday... Blessed)

Back trouble AGAIN

I have been dealing with serious back problems again for the last two weeks... Ugh. Up until Monday of this week, I was using a walker... Nice I know. It has been an emotional roller coaster too just being so unable to do anything at all.

I have been incredibly blessed to have generous people who stepped in everyday the last two weeks to be here with me all day long while Jimmy was at work. I can't lift or carry babies at all so you can see how essential this help has been to keep our family functioning.

My mother-in-law, my mother, my dad and my amazing husband have done so much for the children and I this week. They have all gone above and beyond to do anything and everything to help.... I am incredibly blessed... Incredibly!

My amazing husband has been 100% mom and dad to us this entire past weekend. He has cooked meals, cleaned house, done dishes, taken the children to the park, given baths, single handedly gotten all four children ready for bed (a challenge for anyone), grocery shopped, been my chauffeur to countless chiropractor appointments, etc etc!

Yep, it is confirmed.... I have an amazing selfless husband! I love him so much!

I have to brag on his meals too while I am at it.

He homemade amazing meals all last weekend!

Bacon
Breakfast casseole with extra sharp cheddar, roasted new potatoes, and roma tomatos.
Grain free cocoa muffins

Grass fed beef patties
Roasted rosemary potatoes
Dutch oven brussel sprouts (my all time favorite!!), carrots and onions

Grain free chocolate cupcakes with grass fed buttercream chocolate
icing

Super healthy and super yummy!!

Superhusband!

First foods

This week we have slowly been giving Rivs some real food! We are just giving him whatever the family is eating so today he had scrambled eggs and grain free coconut flour pancakes. He was thrilled! He is just now breaking in two bottom teeth so his digestive system is ready.

Fun times!!

Grateful

I am so incredibly grateful for my husband and children. Jimmy is my best friend and an amazing leader of our troop! He is ever encouraging and always makes me feel like I am the most beautiful girl in the world!

My children love each other and are all best friends. They play for hours together and besides normal squabbles they have a genuinely good time together.

I am very blessed! I can't believe I get to do this everyday.
