Gingerbread house night
Tonight was our 9th annual gingerbread house night. Each kid did their own tiny one and Jimmy and I did a big one together! All the kids did such a good job but Rivers just enjoyed smashing his... Typical! :) Love traditions!!
Eight years
Our sweet girl turned eight years old Sunday! Anna is such a vibrant, creative child with so many of my personality traits it's sometimes scary. She loves her brothers and sisters and has recently been contemplating whether or not she will go away to college or stay in this area... She likes to plan ahead. :)
She LOVES a clean house.
Ballet is her new favorite hobby.
She cherishes Christmas.
Church is very important to her.
Arts and crafts are a daily event for her.
She can always be counted on to be incredibly responsible.
She is the one sibling that no one fights with and everyone wants to sit by at meals.
Health and wellness are a really big deal to her.
She is a joy to all who know her!

Galleria
We took the kids for a quick trip to the Galleria tonight just to see the tree! They were very impressed by the massive size and beautiful lights! I love Christmas!

Annual visit to Dr. Klesse
This happened a month ago but in the busyness of planning our trip to Colorado I forgot to blog it.. So here it is. Our sweet girl and her annual visit to one of the best doctors in the country. She made a precious little book for Dr. Klesse, complete with little pictures she drew of things she knew Dr. Klesse would have... A doctor bag, a stethoscope and a bag of blood... Duh of course, every doctor carries a bag of blood! :)
Serene came back with a clean and healthy report which is always wonderful and makes our holiday season and celebrations more complete! Thank you Lord!

Eight months
Well this has been a month full of events for this little one...
Her first trip out of state to the mountains of Breckenridge, CO and her first experience with REALLY cold weather. I wanna thank the person who thought up the baby snowsuit. Wow, what a lifesaver that thing was.
Her first major illness... Chicken Pox. She fought it off like a champ and is as healthy as ever!
Her first tooth.
Her first table food.. Some avocado, banana and a bit of egg yolk. She's not a fan of any of it though so I guess we will try again one of these days!
She loves her brother and sisters so much and loves to be right in the center of it all!
