Valentines

One of our favorite mini-holidays in this house is Valentines. We always have a big family dinner and activity! The kids look forward to it all year. This year due to the fact that our house is under construction and that I was going to a mommy conference the next day we opted for a simple dinner.... Homemade heart shaped pizza and valentine candy for dessert. Afterwards we had our 3rd annual scavenger hung that sends the kids all over the house looking for clues until they finally find their treasure box full of goodies!

I love how excited they get and what fun they all have together. I'm cherishing these little years... I know they go by way too fast!!

Mud

There are few things my children enjoy more than playing in the mud. We had a huge rain and so needless to say playing in the mud was just necessary when the sun came back out! Our fire pit made the perfect pot for a mud pie! :)

My new wood floors

When we bought this house we had wood floors laid throughout the downstairs except one room. We bought enough wood to do this room but it has been sitting with concrete floors for three years... Until today!

I LOVE it!! It's so beautiful... Why did we not do this sooner?? :)

A Sunny Sunday

There is nothing I enjoy more than a pleasant relaxing Sunday spent enjoying nature... And enjoying the five amazing and generous blessings God has given Jimmy and I. I am so overwhelmed that being the mom of these children is my life... How in the world so I deserve such lavish eternal riches. I am so humbled to spend my life with these people!!

FW Stock Show

We continued our tradition with our yearly outing to the Fort Worth Stock Show. The kids had lots of fun and loved the animals. This is an event we always look forward to.
